31st Oct

A calm morning for a change brought a decent movement of finches with a Brambling, 200 Redpolls, 400 Goldfinches and 75 Siskins overhead. A Merlin, two Chiffchaffs and six Goldcrests were seen in the bushes.

The sea was fairly quiet with just two Velvet Scoters, 22 Little Gulls, five Mediterranean Gulls and an Arctic Skua of interest. The juvenile Sabine's Gull made a brief appearance in the afternoon.

Two Porpoises and a Grey Seal were feeding offshore.
