3rd Nov

A miserable day of strong winds and frequent very heavy rain which more or less restricted observations to the sea. The morning watch produced an excellent total of 26 Sooty Shearwaters along with a Great Northern Diver 438 Gannets, 360 Kittiwakes, four Mediterranean Gulls, a Little Gull, seven Sandwich Terns and two Arctic Terns of note. The adult Yellow-legged Gull was among the gulls on the beach again where a Merlin was also seen.

A Grey Seal was seen.
